There is an outside chance for an isolated thundershower over far southeastern sections, but most of the area will stay dry.

Under partly to mostly sunny skies, highs should climb into the upper 80s both afternoons. As far as rain chances are concerned, those will stay very slim, with just an outside possibility of a renegade late day thundershower each afternoon (especially near the TN border). The weather looks good for BBQ events happening tomorrow in both Glasgow and Fountain Run (Monroe Co) along with the John Mellencamp concert at Houchens-LT Smith Stadium Saturday evening.
UNSETTLED TO START NEXT WEEK:An approaching frontal system gives us our next decent shot for showers and thunderstorms late Monday. Rain chances linger into Tuesday and Wednesday before we dry out Thursday. Highs fall from the mid 80s Monday into the lower 80s with more clouds around Tuesday and Wednesday. As skies brighten Thursday into Friday, readings respond by rising back into the mid and upper 80s both days.
